The EFF have offered the #FeesMustFall leaders a route into front-line politics, after announcing their list of candidates for the 2019 Elections
The EFF have released their list of 200 candidates who would represent the party as MPs, should they win big at the 2019 Elections. Their list claims to be the most diverse and youth-friendly selection of the lot
The red berets released their list of Parliamentary candidates before anyone else on Wednesday, boasting that they have an exact 50/50 split of men to women and have now absorbed members of the #FeesMustFall movement.
Naledi Chirwa and Vuyani Pambo were both pivotal figures in the demonstrations, which shut down university campuses and caused chaos in a bid to see university fees reduced – their goal was achieved when Jacob Zuma made the grandstand decision to implement plans for free higher education.
