A major arts project remembering the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. Designed by David Best in collaboration with Artichoke, a 120m long representation of 17th century London was set alight on the River Thames on Sunday 4th September. Young Londoners worked with carpenters to build the structure, developing skills and knowledge in the process. London 1666 was part of London's Burning, a festival of arts and ideas commemorating the Great Fire.
